The body of the woman who jumped into the Hieu River to commit suicide has been found.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 27th, the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) announced that they had found the body of the woman who jumped into the Hieu River to commit suicide yesterday afternoon (May 26th).
The victim has been identified as Ms. MTLH (born in 1984), residing in Quyet Thang Hamlet, Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town, Nghe An Province. Ms. H.'s body was found entangled in a bush next to the Hieu River, about 1km from the foot of Hieu 2 Bridge.

Earlier, at approximately 1:36 PM on May 26th, rescue forces received a report that someone was suspected of jumping from the building.Hieu River(in the section flowing through Tay Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town) committed suicide. Immediately, the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Department directed Firefighting and Rescue Team No. 3 to mobilize 1 vehicle carrying equipment, 1 motorboat and 10 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene and coordinate the search for the victim.

At the riverbank, authorities discovered a wallet containing documents bearing the name MTL H. Next to the wallet were a pair of sandals, a watch, and some other personal documents. Before jumping into the Hieu River to commit suicide, the woman, identified as an accountant at a local hospital, had sent a message to her husband. After more than a day of searching, rescue teams found the body of the unfortunate woman.
Currently, rescue teams are using boats to retrieve Ms. H.'s body so it can be handed over to her family for burial procedures according to regulations.
