Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan
Born on September 28, 1925
Hometown: Dong Son, Do Luong, Nghe An
Address: No. 30, Alley 1, Pham Tuan Tai Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.
Professor, People's Teacher Nguyen Canh Toan, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training, former Rector of Hanoi Pedagogical University, former Vice President of the Vietnam Mathematical Society, and former Editor-in-Chief of the Mathematics and Youth Newspaper, passed away at 8:02 PM on February 8, 2017 (the 12th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Rooster), at Friendship Hospital.
The wake will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 (corresponding to the 19th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Rooster) at the National Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on the same day. Cremation will take place at Hoan Vu Crematorium, Van Dien. Burial will be at Lac Hong Cemetery Park, Ky Son, Hoa Binh.
