ComradeNguyen Van ThanhBorn on November 30, 1950; hometown: An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province; residing at BT7.7, Phuong Vien Urban Area, Bac An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi; former Assistant to the President of Vietnam, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Ukraine, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Moldova; awarded by the Party and State: Third-Class Independence Order, 30-Year Party Membership Badge; due to old age and weakness, he passed away at 5:50 AM on July 17, 2023 (corresponding to the 30th day of the 5th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) at Military Hospital 103, at the age of 73.
The Office of the President and the Liaison Committee of Retired Employees of the Office of the President organized the funeral ceremony for ComradeNguyen Van ThanhAccording to high-level funeral rites; the viewing will take place from 7:15 AM on July 21, 2023, at the National Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.
The memorial service and funeral procession will take place at 8:30 AM on the same day, with burial at Thanh Tuoc Cemetery.
