The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Bang commune, along with the family, are deeply saddened to announce the passing of:
ComradePham Duc ThamHe was the former Party Secretary of Thanh Long commune, now Kim Bang commune, Nghe An province; he was awarded the First Class Resistance Medal and the 65-Year Party Membership Badge; his hometown is Kim Bang commune, Nghe An province.
After a long illness, despite the dedicated care and treatment from his family and medical staff, due to his advanced age and weakened health, he passed away at 5:36 AM on September 29, 2026 (corresponding to the 19th day of the 8th lunar month of the Year of the Horse), at the age of 92.
The viewing ceremony will take place from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM on October 1, 2026, at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.
The memorial service will be held at 4 PM on the same day. Cremation will take place at the Hoan Vu Crematorium, Van Dien, Hanoi.
The wake will be held at the family home, Long Giang village, Kim Bang commune, Nghe An province, from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM on October 2, 2026. The burial will take place on the same day at the family cemetery.
The family requests that no condolences be given; the Funeral Organizing Committee has prepared wreaths and memorial ribbons.
