Last night (August 30), the tropical depression weakened into a low pressure area over Central Laos.

At 10 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was at about 18.1 degrees North latitude; 104.3 degrees East longitude, in the Central Laos region. The strongest wind in the center of the depression decreased to below level 6 (below 39 km/h).

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the low pressure area will move mainly to the West, traveling 15-20km per hour, and its intensity will continue to weaken.
