The 80th National Day celebration on September 2 will take place in a grand manner with a parade, fireworks, and light show, expected to attract 30,000 people at Ba Dinh Square.
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just signed a plan to organize the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
This commemorative event has a special significance in affirming the great historical value of two sacred milestones in the history of the nation. The commemoration ceremony was organized by the close coordination between the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi City, demonstrating the solidarity and unity of the entire political system.
Not only is this a solemn occasion, it also aims to strengthen people's confidence in the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam. At the same time, the program aims to spread patriotism, arouse national solidarity and nurture the aspiration to develop the country in line with the direction of the 13th National Congress.
The program of the celebration, parade, and march to celebrate National Day September 2, 2025 includes:

+ 6:45: Flag salute ceremony (Ministry of National Defense) performed.
