As of 3:30 PM Vietnam time today, the world gold price has reached $3641.18 per ounce, down 0.03% or $1.1 per ounce compared to yesterday.
Based on today's USD/VND exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,476 VND/USD), the world gold price today is equivalent to 116.1 million VND/ounce. Currently, the domestic gold price is about 15 million VND/ounce higher than the world gold price.

The price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group is 128.6 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC is also 128.6 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 129.5-131.1 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, the price of gold bars was traded at 128.4 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).
At Phu Quy, the price of SJC gold bars is being traded by businesses at 127.5 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buy - sell).

USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 15th: Slight recovery but still under pressure.
The US Dollar Index (DXY), which measures the strength of the greenback against other major currencies, stood at 97.66 points on the morning of September 15th. Compared to the previous session, the euro fell 0.07% to 1.1727 USD/EUR, the British pound fell 0.03% to 1.3555 USD/GBP, while the Japanese yen fell 0.07% to 147.57 JPY/USD.
The US dollar is showing a slight recovery after a period of weakness due to a sharp increase in US jobless claims and a modest rise in inflation. Investors are now focusing on the Federal Reserve's policy meeting scheduled for next week, with expectations that the central bank will lower the benchmark interest rate by at least 0.25%.
As of 3:30 PM on September 15th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate at 25,216 VND/USD, unchanged from the end of the week. With a 5% margin, commercial banks are allowed to trade within the range of 23,955 - 26,477 VND/USD.
At the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor, the reference exchange rate remains at 24,006 - 26,426 VND/USD.
Many commercial banks slightly adjusted down their USD buying prices compared to the previous session:
Vietcombank listed the exchange rate at 26,166 - 26,476 VND/USD.
BIDV lowered its buying rate by 8 dong to 26,197 - 26,476 VND/USD.
VietinBank's exchange rate fell by 16 dong, trading at 26,196 - 26,476 VND/USD.
Techcombank listed the USD exchange rate at 26,180 - 26,476 VND, a decrease of 16 dong in the buying rate.
Eximbank lowered the exchange rate by 10 dong to 26,160 - 26,476 VND/USD.
Sacombank slightly increased its buying rate by 10 dong, to 26,200 - 26,476 VND/USD.
Compared to its peak earlier this month, the USD price in the banking system has now fallen by more than 100 dong.
The USD exchange rate on the free market has fallen sharply. The free market continues its cooling trend. On September 15th, the USD was trading around 26,450 VND/USD (buying) and 26,550 VND/USD (selling), a decrease of 400 VND compared to the end of last week.
Compared to the peak of 27,000 VND/USD recorded on September 6th, the US dollar on the free market is currently about 520 VND/USD lower.
Pepper prices today, September 15, 2025: Prices remain unchanged.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remained unchanged compared to yesterday. As a result, the average domestic pepper price is between 148,000 VND/kg and 151,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 151,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 151,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 15th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,074/ton. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$10,024/ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.

Coffee prices today, September 15, 2025: Turning around and slightly decreasing.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 15, 2025, saw a slight decrease compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 119,600 and 120,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at a maximum of 120,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 120,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 119,800 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 119,600 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for September 2025 delivery reached $4817 per ton, up 1.69% ($80 per ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 contract rose 0.35% ($16 per ton) to $4617 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery rose 2.41% (9.65 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 410.65 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 0.4% (1.6 US cents/pound), reaching 396.45 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery rose 2.81% (14 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 511.7 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract fell 0.14% (0.75 US cents/pound), reaching 484 US cents/pound.
