The price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group is 134.5 - 136.5 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 134.5 - 136.5 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).

USD exchange rate this afternoon, September 29th: Slightly lower after a series of gains.
On September 29th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate at 25,192 VND/USD, a decrease of 2 dong compared to the end of last week. The ceiling exchange rate remained at 26,451 VND/USD. The buying and selling prices at the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor also decreased by 2 dong, to 23,983 VND and 26,401 VND respectively.
At commercial banks at 5:00 PM, the USD exchange rate showed little change compared to September 26th. The buying price decreased slightly to 26,181 VND/USD, while the selling price was 26,451 VND/USD. The transfer rate was recorded at 26,211 VND/USD.
Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 29th at 26,211 - 26,451 VND/USD, a decrease of 2 dong in both directions.
Conversely, BIDV adjusted its rates upwards, to 26,230 - 26,451 VND/USD, an increase of 15 dong for the buying rate and 2 dong for the selling rate.
Unlike banks, the free market is trending upwards. The buying price reached 26,520 VND/USD and the selling price was 26,620 VND/USD, an increase of 30 dong compared to September 26th.

On the international market, the USD Index (DXY) stands at 98.18. Earlier, the DXY touched 98.834 – its highest level in eight weeks. If it surpasses 99.07, the greenback could reach 100.26, its highest level since the beginning of August.
Despite the US Federal Reserve (Fed) lowering interest rates by 25 basis points in September, the US dollar has maintained its position. Amid global instability, the USD continues to be chosen as a safe haven, laying the foundation for an upward trend.
Pepper prices this afternoon, September 29, 2025: Remaining stable.
Pepper prices in key growing regions remained unchanged this afternoon compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 147,000 VND/kg and 150,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, in Gia Lai and Dong Nai, the price of pepper today is 148,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Pepper prices in Ho Chi Minh City remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with traders buying pepper at 150,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, in Lam Dong, the price of pepper on the market, purchased by traders, remained unchanged at 149,000 VND/kg compared to the previous day.
Pepper prices in Dak Lak also remained unchanged, recorded at 150,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 29th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$6,945/tonne. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,841/tonne.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,600/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$13,000/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Coffee prices this afternoon, September 29, 2025: Continuing to rise.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region this afternoon, September 29, 2025, continued to rise compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 115,300 and 116,700 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 116,700 VND/kg, a slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 116,500 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 116,300 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee increased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 115,300 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for November 2025 delivery reached $4243 per ton, up 1% ($42 per ton) from yesterday. The January 2026 contract rose 1.08% ($45 per ton) to $4227 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 3.73% (13.85 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 385.2 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 2.01% (7.2 US cents/pound), reaching 366.1 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 0.83% (3.75 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 454.7 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 0.63% (2.8 US cents/pound), reaching 449.2 US cents/pound.

Oil prices this afternoon, September 29, 2025: Turning downwards.
Oil prices fell as Iraq and Kurdistan resumed exports and OPEC+ prepared to increase production, boosting global supply.
This afternoon, September 29th (Vietnam time), Brent crude fell 43 cents to $69.70 per barrel, while US WTI crude lost 49 cents to $65.23 per barrel. This decline erased almost all of the strong gains from the end of last week. Previously, both Brent and WTI had risen more than 4% this week, recording their highest increases since June.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 25th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 370 VND/liter to 19,610 VND/liter.
- The price of RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 440 VND/liter, to 20,160 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices decreased slightly by 50 VND/liter, to 18,650 VND/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 80 VND/liter to 18,620 VND/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 70 VND/kg, to 15,200 VND/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
