Based on today's USD/VND exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,476 VND/USD), the world gold price today is equivalent to 116.2 million VND/ounce. Currently, the domestic gold price is about 14.9 million VND/ounce higher than the world gold price.

The price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group is 128.1 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC is also 128.1 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 129-131.1 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, gold bars were traded at 128.1 - 131.1 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

USD exchange rate on September 15th: Slight decline this trading week.
As of 4:00 AM on September 15th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of the Vietnamese Dong against the US Dollar at 25,216 VND. At the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor, the reference exchange rate was listed at 24,006 VND for buying and 26,426 VND for selling.
In the commercial banking sector, the listed rates remained fairly stable. Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,166 VND and the selling rate at 26,476 VND. At Vietinbank, the buying rate was 26,030 VND and the selling rate at 26,476 VND. BIDV also maintained a buying rate of 26,208 VND and a selling rate of 26,476 VND.
The USD Index (DXY), a measure of the dollar's strength against a basket of six major currencies, fell 0.18% last week to 97.62. This signals that the USD is temporarily weakening against major currencies.
On the international market, the EUR/USD pair remained virtually unchanged, closing the week around 1.1700. The European Central Bank (ECB) maintained its current policy and is unlikely to adjust interest rates until next summer.
The British pound saw a slight increase, with the GBP/USD exchange rate ending the week at 1.3565. Investors are awaiting the Bank of England's (BoE) interest rate decision next week, with most members of the Monetary Policy Committee expected to vote to maintain current interest rates.
Regarding the Japanese Yen, the USD/JPY exchange rate has remained stable for eight consecutive weeks. The Bank of Japan (BoJ) is expected to continue its accommodative policy with interest rates close to zero, in order to support the domestic economic recovery.
Pepper prices today, September 15, 2025: Sharp decline last week.
Today, September 15th, pepper prices have fallen for two consecutive weeks, standing at 148,000 - 151,000 VND/kg. Conversely, export pepper prices have increased by 100 to 430 USD/ton.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 151,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 151,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.
At the end of last week, pepper prices in key producing provinces and cities decreased by 1000 to 3000 VND/kg compared to the previous week.
Specifically, pepper prices in Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Dong Nai all decreased by 1000 VND/kg last week. Pepper prices in Gia Lai and Binh Phuoc decreased by 2000 VND/kg and 3000 VND/kg respectively compared to the previous week.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 15th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,074/ton. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$10,024/ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Domestic pepper prices fell this week, but export prices rose by between $100 and $430 per ton. Pepper exports are expected to be the main support for Vietnamese pepper prices, as demand increases from major markets.
According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), world pepper prices fluctuated last week. Specifically, the price of Lampung pepper from Indonesia decreased slightly by $12/ton compared to the previous week. Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 saw a sharper decline, falling by $100/ton.
Conversely, the export price of Vietnamese black pepper increased from 360 to 430 USD/ton for the 500 g/l and 550 g/l grades. Meanwhile, the price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper remained unchanged throughout the past week.
At the same time as the survey, the price of Indonesian Muntok white pepper decreased by $18/ton last week. In contrast, Vietnamese white pepper increased by $100/ton. The price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper remained stable at $12,900/ton.

Coffee prices today, September 15, 2025: A week of strong increases.
Coffee prices today, September 15th, are at 119,800 - 120,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of nearly 8,000 VND/kg over the past week. Trading activity in Vietnam remains relatively quiet.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 120,500 VND/kg. Coffee prices in Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces are at 120,200 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in Lam Dong province, the lowest price is 119,800 VND/kg.
At the end of last week, coffee prices in the Central Highlands region increased sharply from 7200 to 7800 VND/kg, corresponding to an increase of 6.4% to 7% compared to the previous week.
Specifically, coffee prices in Dak Nong increased by 7200 VND/kg last week, while Dak Lak and Gia Lai saw increases of 7000 VND/kg and 7400 VND/kg respectively. Notably, Lam Dong recorded the strongest increase at 7800 VND/kg, although it still has the lowest price in the region.

On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery reached $4817/ton, up 1.69% ($80/ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 futures contract increased by 1.77% ($80/ton), reaching $4601/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery rose 2.65% (10.6 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 410.65 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 2.78% (10.75 US cents/pound), reaching 396.85 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery rose 2.81% (14 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 511.7 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract fell 0.14% (0.75 US cents/pound), reaching 484 US cents/pound.

Rubber prices today, September 15, 2025: Sharp decline across the board.
In Singapore, October 2025 rubber futures fell 0.39% ($0.7/tonne) from yesterday to $173.1/tonne. November 2025 futures contracts fell 0.22% ($0.4/tonne) to $173.9/tonne.

At the opening of trading on September 15th in China, the price of September 2025 rubber futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) rose 0.07% (10 yuan) to 14,835 yuan/tonne. The price of October 2025 rubber futures fell 0.29% (45 yuan) to 14,910 yuan/tonne.

At the time of this survey, the price of RSS3 on the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for September 2025 delivery increased by 0.06% (0.2 Yen/kg) compared to yesterday, reaching 323.2 Yen/kg. The October 2025 contract remained unchanged at 321.9 Yen/kg.

Cocoa prices today, September 15, 2025: Mixed increases and decreases.
As of 4:00 AM on September 15, 2025, cocoa prices traded on the New York exchange for September 2025 delivery decreased by 1.82% (US$136/ton) compared to yesterday, falling to US$7315/ton. The December 2025 futures contract increased by 0.58% (US$43/ton), reaching US$7474/ton.

At the time of this survey, London cocoa prices for September 2025 delivery were down 4.83% (255 GBP/tonne) compared to yesterday, at 5014 GBP/tonne. The December 2025 contract fell 1.72% (90 GBP/tonne), reaching 5106 GBP/tonne.
