The price of SJC gold bars, as listed by DOJI Group, is 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 131-132 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, gold bars were traded at 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying and selling).

USD exchange rate today, September 19th: The Dollar Index rose to 97.39 points.
As of 6:00 AM on September 19th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate at 25,186 VND/USD, a decrease of 12 dong compared to September 17th, marking the 10th consecutive day of decline.
With a trading range of ±5%, today's ceiling exchange rate is set at 26,445 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,927 VND/USD.
At the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor, the reference exchange rate is listed at 23,977 - 26,395 VND/USD for buying and selling respectively.
On the morning of September 19th, the USD exchange rate continued to fall at many banks. At Vietcombank, the listed rate was 26,165 - 26,445 VND/USD, 12 dong lower than the previous day.
BIDV also adjusted the buying price down by 17 dong and the selling price down by 12 dong, listing them at 26,178 - 26,445 VND/USD.
VietinBank maintained its buying price at 26,189 VND/USD, while its selling price decreased by 12 dong to 26,445 VND/USD.
Techcombank recorded a rate of 26,170 - 26,445 VND/USD, an increase of 10 dong in the buying price and a decrease of 12 dong in the selling price.
Eximbank made a more significant adjustment, lowering the buying price by 30 dong to 26,140 VND/USD, while the selling price remained at 26,445 VND/USD.
Sacombank maintained its buying rate at 26,180 VND/USD but also lowered its selling rate by 12 dong to 26,445 VND/USD.

As of 6:00 AM on September 19th, Hanoi time, the Dollar Index rose to 97.39 points. The euro edged up slightly by 0.05% to $1.1821, the British pound edged up 0.01% to $1.3626, while the Japanese yen fell 0.04% to $146.95.
The US dollar fell to its lowest level in three and a half years immediately after the Fed cut interest rates, but then quickly recovered strongly. The USD index bounced back to the 97-point level, reflecting investor confidence in the strength of the currency amid continued loose US monetary policy.
Pepper prices today, September 19, 2025: Domestic prices remain unchanged.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 147,000 VND/kg and 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 149,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 19th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices fell slightly compared to yesterday, reaching US$7,061/ton (down 0.41%). Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also decreased slightly compared to yesterday, reaching US$10,006/ton (down 0.41%).
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.

Coffee prices today, September 19, 2025: Domestic prices fall sharply.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 19, 2025, decreased sharply by 4200 to 4800 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 115,800 and 116,700 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at a maximum of 116,700 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 4,800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 116,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 4,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 4800 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 116,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 4200 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 115,800 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for September 2025 delivery reached $4668 per ton, down 6.62% ($331 per ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 contract fell 1.24% ($55 per ton) to $4395 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery rose 0.73% (2.75 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 378.4 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 0.48% (1.7 US cents/pound), reaching 359 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell 8.8% (44.6 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 461.9 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 0.44% (2 US cents/pound), reaching 456.25 US cents/pound.

Oil prices today, September 19, 2025: Falling due to concerns about the US economy.
Oil prices fell slightly on September 19th, continuing their decline due to concerns about the US economy and oversupply, despite the Fed cutting interest rates to support growth.
In trading on September 19th, world oil prices continued to fall. Brent crude dropped 26 cents to $67.69 per barrel, while US WTI crude lost 28 cents to $63.77 per barrel.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 18th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 230 VND, reaching a maximum of 19,986 VND/liter.
- The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 208 dong, reaching 20,608 dong/liter.
- The price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased sharply by 560 VND, reaching 20,600 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices increased by 62 dong to 18,705 dong/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 176 dong to 18,544 dong/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 40 dong, to 15,130 dong/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
Rubber prices today, September 19, 2025: Sharp decline across the board.
In Singapore, October 2025 rubber futures prices fell 1.49% ($2.6/tonne) compared to yesterday, to $170.6/tonne. November 2025 futures contracts fell 0.22% ($0.4/tonne), reaching $173.9/tonne.

At the opening of trading on September 19th in China, the price of October 2025 rubber futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell 0.83% (90 yuan) to 15,015 yuan/tonne. The price of November 2025 rubber futures fell 0.59% (90 yuan) to 14,960 yuan/tonne.

At the time of this survey, RSS3 prices on the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for September 2025 delivery were down 0.61% (2 Yen/kg) from yesterday, to 321 Yen/kg. The October 2025 contract was down 0.55% (1.8 Yen/kg), reaching 320.1 Yen/kg.

Cocoa prices today, September 19, 2025: Sharp decline across the board.
As of 6:00 AM on September 19, 2025, cocoa prices traded on the New York exchange for September 2025 delivery decreased by 1.82% (US$136/ton) compared to yesterday, falling to US$7315/ton. The December 2025 futures contract decreased by 2.52% (US$188/ton), reaching US$7243/ton.

At the time of this survey, London cocoa prices for December 2025 delivery were down 1.4% (72 GBP/tonne) compared to yesterday, at 5029 GBP/tonne. The March 2026 contract fell 1.27% (65 GBP/tonne), reaching 5024 GBP/tonne.
