The price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at 136 - 138 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At the same time, the price of gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC and PNJ gold bars at 136 - 138 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 137 - 138 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The price of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was traded by the enterprise at 136 - 138 million VND/tael (buying and selling).

USD exchange rate today October 3, 2025: Central USD exchange rate remains unchanged

As of 6:00 a.m. on October 3, the State Bank announced the central exchange rate at 25,177 VND/USD, down 10 VND compared to yesterday.

With a fluctuation range of ±5%, the applied ceiling rate is 26,436 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,918 VND/USD.

At the State Bank Transaction Office, the reference price remained at 23,969 VND/USD for buying and 26,385 VND/USD for selling.

Exchange rates at commercial banks also followed a downward trend. Vietcombank listed USD at 26,185 VND/USD for buying and 26,435 VND/USD for selling, down 11 VND in both directions.

VietinBank traded at 26,226 VND/USD for buying and 26,435 VND/USD for selling, down more than 20 VND for buying and 11 VND for selling.

While banks simultaneously reduced exchange rates, the free market recorded the opposite trend. The USD price in the free market increased by 25 VND in both directions, trading around 26,515 VND/USD for buying and 26,615 VND/USD for selling.

In the international market, the Dollar Index (DXY) - a measure of the strength of the USD compared to 6 major currencies - decreased by 0.07% to 97.70 points. The USD lost value compared to many major currencies after a report showed that the US private sector job market weakened last month.

The greenback fell to a two-week low of 147.07 yen. Against the euro, the dollar also fell to a one-week low, with the common European currency rising to $1.1738. The British pound rose 0.3% to $1.3487, its highest in a week.

In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on October 3 (local time) as follows:

Specifically, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at USD 6,979/ton. In addition, the price of Muntok white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at USD 9,889/ton.

Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500/mt.

Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,600/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $13,000/ton.

Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.

In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.

Coffee prices today October 3, 2025: Strong increase in series

Domestic coffee prices today, October 3, 2025, in the Central Highlands region increased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 116,500 - 117,900 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 117,900 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,900 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 117,700 VND/kg, an increase of 1,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND1,700/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND117,500/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND1,800/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND116,500/kg.

On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures contract for November 2025 delivery reached 4,323 USD/ton, down 1.82% (80 USD/ton) compared to yesterday. The contract for January 2026 delivery decreased 1.41% (62 USD/ton), reaching 4,326 USD/ton.

Gasoline price today October 3, 2025: Domestic price slightly increased

Oil prices continued to fall, with Brent hitting its lowest since June due to oversupply pressure and expectations of OPEC+ increasing production next month.

In the trading session on October 3, world oil prices continued to fall for the fourth consecutive day.

Brent crude futures fell 58 cents, or 0.9%, to $64.77 a barrel, their lowest since early June. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also fell 57 cents to $61.21 a barrel.

These are the lowest prices in four months, reflecting investors' concerns about oversupply.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced new retail prices of gasoline and oil, effective from 3:00 p.m. on October 2. Specifically as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 10 VND/liter to 19,620 VND/liter.

- RON 95-III gasoline price increased by 40 VND/liter, to 20,200 VND/liter.

- Diesel oil increased slightly by 380 VND/liter, to 19,030 VND/liter.

- Kerosene price increased by 380 VND/liter to 19,000 VND/liter.

- Fuel oil price increased by 170 VND/kg, to 15,370 VND/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, fluctuations in domestic gasoline prices are greatly influenced by the international market. In the past 7 days, OPEC+ has increased production and is expected to continue to increase it in November.

In addition, the US crude oil inventories increased and the tension in Ukraine disrupted energy supplies from Russia. These factors pushed up world fuel prices compared to the previous period: the average price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 0.3% to 80.7 USD/barrel, diesel increased by 2.4% and fuel oil increased by 1.75%.

Rubber price today October 3, 2025: Sharp drop in Tokyo and Shanghai

In Singapore, the price of rubber futures for October 2025 decreased by 1.67% (2.9 USD/ton) compared to yesterday, to 170 USD/ton. The contract for November 2025 delivery increased by 1.31% (2.2 USD/ton) to 169.9 USD/ton.

At the opening of the trading session on October 3, in China, the October 2025 rubber futures price on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell 1.44% (210 yuan) to 14,265 yuan/ton. The November 2025 rubber futures price fell 0.75% (110 yuan) to 14,365 yuan/ton.
