Good financial news for exam candidates and new university students in 2025.
The railway industry has just announced an attractive incentive policy for students preparing for important exams and university admissions.
From now until the end of October 2025, students taking entrance exams and enrolling in schools at all levels will benefit from special preferential policies.
The Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company is implementing a program to reduce train ticket prices by 10% for students using passenger train services to participate in the high school graduation exam as well as entrance exams for universities, academies, colleges, vocational schools and training centers.
This offer applies not only to candidates taking the exam but also to students with valid admission notices for the 2025 academic year. Each student can purchase a maximum of one one-way ticket and one return ticket with a 10% discount. Importantly, accompanying family members also receive the same discount on the same journey.

Mr. Dao Anh Tuan, General Director of the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, said that the ticket discount program is an expression of the railway industry's compassion and sharing spirit. The aim is to provide motivation and alleviate some of the financial burden for students and their families on their journey to acquire knowledge.
Mr. Tuan pledged to provide a safe and convenient trip and hoped that this small support would help the students feel more confident, achieve good results in their exams, and start their new academic journey with enthusiasm.
The program will run from May 28th to October 31st, 2025. To receive the discount, passengers must present relevant documents such as exam notification slips, exam cards, admission notices, and valid identification documents. If using the VNEID identification application, ensure that the student's personal information is fully updated. Please note that the program only applies to tickets purchased directly at train stations and does not support online ticket sales. This policy aims to provide financial support to students and their families and encourage the use of safe and convenient public transportation.
