Nghe An Provincial Youth Union launches the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
On the morning of May 31st, at Quynh Phuong beach, Quynh Mai ward, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, organized the launching ceremony of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
Attending the program were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; representatives of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of provincial departments and agencies, local leaders, and more than 500 youth union members, young people and people in the area.
Speaking at the launch of the campaign, Comrade Ho Phuc Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Nghe An province - called on union members and young people to promote a pioneering and creative spirit, and actively participate in volunteer activities for the community.
At the event, the Organizing Committee presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged children; the Youth Union of BIDV Bank, Nghe An branch, donated a youth project worth 50 million VND to a border commune; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union donated 12 water filters and 30 water tanks worth 150 million VND to people in 21 border communes; and presented a "Youth Bookcase" to the Youth Union of Quynh Mai ward, along with 20 trash cans to support environmental protection efforts.
On this occasion, the Youth Union of the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment presented 200 national flags to fishermen who work at sea; units in the Pioneer Emulation Cluster - Creative Emulation Cluster presented 700 national flags as part of the youth project "9,500 national flags - 95 years of proud progress" to coastal communes and wards.
Also at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union launched the youth volunteer teams including: Supporting the Exam Season, Green Summer, Red Phoenix Flower, Pink Holiday, and Green March; and performed the flag-handing ceremony, officially launching the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, youth union members and young people went out to clean the beach, collect waste, and plant casuarina trees in response to the "Youth in Action for Climate - Joining Hands to Protect the Sea and Oceans" program, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful marine environment.
