This was the site of the Nghe Tinh Soviet event on September 12, 1930 - the first uprising under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam since its inception and the peak of the revolutionary movement in the years 1930 - 1931. |

During the war against American bombs, at the Truong Bon fire coordinates, 1,240 cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, and workers in the transportation industry fought bravely and sacrificed. Notably, on October 31, 1968, 13 soldiers of the Nghe An Youth Volunteer Company 317 sacrificed their lives while on duty. |
