The incident where coach Park Hang-seo yelled at his players was included in a Literature exam.

The one-hour Literature test, held on the afternoon of January 29th for Class 11B12 at Dao Son Tay High School (Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City), was considered interesting.

The question was as follows: After the 2018 AFC U23 Asian Championship final between Vietnam U23 and Uzbekistan U23, Vietnam's coach Park Hang-seo told his players: "We tried our best, why should we hang our heads?"

The person who set the exam – Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang (a teacher in the Literature department) – is a big fan of Vietnamese football. She and most of her students closely followed the Vietnamese team's miraculous achievement at the U23 Asian Championship.

"The team's fighting spirit, solidarity, and teacher-student bond are truly admirable. I want to share this inspiration, especially Coach Park's words of encouragement to his players after the final defeat: you have the right to hold your heads high because you tried your best for your players," Ms. Trang shared.

According to Ms. Trang, the victory of the Vietnam U23 team is not simply about the matches, but more importantly, it is about the effort and perseverance to overcome personal limitations and conquer the highest peaks.

Through this test, the teacher hopes that students will put their utmost effort, complete trust, and determination into whatever they do, just like the young men of the Vietnam U23 team."I've never seen a midterm test where the students were so engrossed in working on it," Ms. Trang said.

After the defeat against Uzbekistan U23 in Changzhou (Jiangsu Province, China), coach Park Hang-seo stood in the middle of a circle of Vietnamese U23 players and shouted: "Why should we bow our heads?", he said, slapping his hand forcefully on his chest. "We shouldn't bow our heads, we did our best."
