Earlier, at the end of November 2025, People's Artist Tu Long successfully defended his doctoral thesis at the age of 52, becoming the first PhD holder of the Army Cheo Theatre. This is a proud achievement, recognizing his continuous efforts in his career.

People's Artist Tu Long currently holds the position of Director of the Army Cheo Theater and has the rank of Colonel. Besides his successful career, he has a happy and fulfilling family life. His wife, Minh Nguyet, 12 years younger than him, is a lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts with the rank of Major.

After more than 10 years of marriage, the couple has three children: Minh Thu (10 years old), Minh Chau (6 years old), and Bach (3 years old).
