Establish a registration and electronic identity verification support point at the pedestrian street in Vinh City.

On the evening of November 11th, at the pedestrian street in Vinh City, the Nghe An Provincial Police organized a consultation and support point for registering and installing electronic identification (VNEID) and providing guidance on online public services.

According to the "90-day, 90-night" intensive plan, solutions will be implemented to ensure the completion of targets serving the implementation of the 2020 Residence Law and to strengthen and accelerate its implementation.Project 06/CPThe Nghe An Provincial Police have chosen the intersection of Ho Tung Mau and Nguyen Van Cu streets as the location to assist citizens with registering, installing electronic identification, and providing guidance on online public services. This service will be available on Friday and Saturday evenings each week, until December 31, 2022.

When citizens come in person to this location, they need to bring personal documents such as: Citizen ID card, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, health insurance card, etc. Police officers will receive the information and register a Level 2 electronic identification account for citizens. In addition, the police force will also guide citizens on how to register a Level 1 identification account on their smartphone.

This meaningful initiative aims to simplify the paperwork involved in administrative procedures, contributing to the development of a digital society and e-government, and helping to better and more effectively serve citizens and businesses.
