Organizing a summer camp called 'Connecting with Love' for 200 orphaned and disadvantaged children.
On the morning of June 22nd, the Provincial Labor Culture House, in collaboration with the Khai Minh Duc education system, organized the "Connecting with Love" summer camp for 200 orphaned and disadvantaged children of union members and workers in Nghe An province.
The program was attended by representatives of the leadership.Provincial Labor Union, Provincial Union of Civil Servants, Vinh City Federation of Labor.
The Summer Camp is organized completely free of charge in conjunction with the Month of Action for Children and Vietnamese Family Day (June 28th). At the same time, it provides practical care for the children of union members and workers, contributing to the implementation of Directive No. 28 of the Politburo on strengthening the care, education, and protection of children, meeting the requirements of a prosperous and happy nation.
The 2024 "Connecting with Love" summer camp provided opportunities for the children of union members and workers to participate in enriching experiential activities, enhancing their self-awareness and life perspective, and motivating them to overcome their circumstances. Through this summer camp format, the organizers also aimed to instill patriotism, national pride, and a beautiful way of life, especially instilling gratitude, love, and resilience. It was also an opportunity to cultivate self-discipline, teamwork, and other skills in children, helping them become more resilient in life.

The "Summer Camp 2024 - Connecting with Love" program was held over two days (June 22-23) with a series of meaningful activities. Campers were divided into 10 teams, getting acquainted and participating in fun activities, entertainment, and listening to lectures on the meaning of the five teachings of Uncle Ho for children and teenagers. In addition, the children offered incense and flowers, reported their achievements to Uncle Ho, and performed folk dances at Ho Chi Minh Square; learned skills such as preparing meals, self-care and caring for others, listened to lectures on gratitude, and developed a sense of independence...
The closing ceremony of the summer camp will take place on the afternoon of June 23rd.
