Discussion to provide feedback on the manuscript of the book 'People of Nghe An'

The seminar was chaired by the following individuals: Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky - former Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; former Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council and Head of the Literary and Artistic Criticism Department; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc - Director and Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Publishing House.

Attending the seminar were: Dr. Hoang Xuan Luong – former Deputy Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities, and Vice President of the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi; and Vo Van Dung – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Also attending were representatives from provincial departments and agencies; experts, journalists, and researchers from within and outside the province.

With the enthusiastic support and encouragement of several leaders, researchers, and journalists, especially journalist and poet Nguyen Si Dai and Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Publishing House Bui Thi Ngoc, the idea of ​​compiling portraits of contemporary people from Nghe An in the section "The Landscape and People of Nghe An" to publish as a book gradually became a reality. And now, the manuscript is complete.the bookIt has been completed with over 500 pages.

During the seminar, the participants exchanged ideas on the following issues: criteria for selecting characters to be included in the book; researching how to arrange the characters in a suitable order; and adding more characters and content to the book.

At the same time, clearly define the purpose of the book, consider adjustments, and select some individuals to fit the established criteria. Based on that, the book's title can be adjusted to "Nghe An - Contemporary Figures".

In his concluding remarks at the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky noted that the editorial team should incorporate and select the feedback received; research and add more prominent figures to enrich the book's content…
