The Bishop's Office of the Vinh Diocese extends New Year greetings to Yen Thanh District.

Also joining the delegation were Father Pham Quang Long, Chief of the Bishop's Office; and Father Ngo Van Hau, the priest in charge of the Bishop's Office.

The delegation was received by: Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Binh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairwoman of the District People's Council; Mr. Phan Van Tuyen - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, along with other members of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long expressed his joy at visiting and extending New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government, and people of Yen Thanh district.

The Bishop expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the kind sentiments received by the Vinh Diocese during Christmas 2024 from the leaders of Yen Thanh district; along with the care and attention of the Party committee and government towards the Catholic community in the district.

Thanks to this, Catholic people in Yen Thanh district are given the best conditions to practice their faith healthily and contribute their efforts to the construction and development of their district.

Entering 2024, under the leadership of the district's Party committees and authorities, the Bishop of the Vinh Diocese expressed confidence that Yen Thanh district will continue to achieve many more successes, befitting its rich local traditions.

On behalf of the district leadership, Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee - also expressed her joy, excitement, and emotion at welcoming Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long and the delegation from the Vinh Diocese to visit and extend New Year greetings.

The District Party Secretary also expressed sincere gratitude for the affection of Bishop Nguyen Huu Long and the contributions of the priests, dignitaries, and officials in the socio-economic development of the locality over the past year.

At the same time, we hope that Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long and the priests, dignitaries, and religious figures, in their respective positions and responsibilities, will continue to lead and accompany the Catholic community in the district in upholding the tradition of patriotism. From there, they should implement many activities that benefit both religion and society, encourage people to abide by the Party's policies and the State's laws, unite as one, and build a stronger and more prosperous Yen Thanh district.

On the occasion of the New Year 2024, the District Party Secretary sent New Year greetings to the Bishop's Office of the Vinh Diocese. He wished all Catholics in the district a New Year filled with good health, peace, and happiness.
