The entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army are determined to achieve miracles in the new stage of development.

On this day, under the leadership of Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Conference to Unify Communist Organizations decided to merge the Indochinese Communist Party, the Annam Communist Party, and the Indochinese Communist League into a single organization named the Communist Party of Vietnam. After its founding, with its correct revolutionary line, the Party rallied and led the entire nation to rise up and fight for independence and freedom, gradually building a prosperous and happy life.

For 96 years under the leadership of the Party, our people have united as one, bravely overcoming all hardships and challenges, achieving great victories, overthrowing the colonial regime, driving out imperialist invaders, preserving the territorial integrity of the country, successfully carrying out the renovation process, building a prosperous, civilized, and happy nation, with the people's lives constantly improving, and Vietnam's prestige and position increasingly enhanced in the international arena.

Throughout this journey, the Party has always put the people first, striving for the happiness of the people, relying on the people, maintaining close ties with the people, and promoting the strength of national unity to overcome all difficulties, transform challenges into opportunities, and achieve great and historically significant accomplishments.

Experience has proven that the Party's leadership is the primary factor determining all victories. From its inception, the Party has had a correct, creative political line that is appropriate to the context of the Vietnamese revolution.

Throughout the arduous revolutionary struggle, the difficult period of national reconstruction, and amidst unpredictable geopolitical and economic changes in the world, the Party has been tempered, growing stronger, and constantly renewing itself to enhance its fighting power in all circumstances, worthy of its mission to lead the revolution and the trust and support of the people. Steadfastly navigating the Vietnamese revolutionary ship through storms and tempests, the Party's prestige has been steadily enhanced, and the people's faith in the Party's leadership has been increasingly consolidated.

Proud of our glorious Party, we are infinitely grateful for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, who founded, led, and nurtured our Party. We will forever remember the dedication and sacrifices of our predecessors, heroes, martyrs, and outstanding sons and daughters of the nation to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people. With the flame of tradition burning brightly, the entire Party, people, and army pledge to unite as one to firmly protect the achievements of the revolution, steadfastly uphold the path of independence, self-reliance, and self-strength, persistently pursue the path to socialism, comprehensively accelerate the reform process, and create miracles in the new stage of development.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam has just concluded successfully. The Congress set the goals for the 2026-2030 period as maintaining a peaceful and stable environment; developing the country rapidly and sustainably; comprehensively improving the people's living standards; strengthening self-reliance and self-strengthening, advancing strongly in the new era of the nation; successfully achieving the goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030; achieving an average annual growth rate of 10% or more; and realizing the vision of becoming a developed country with high income by 2045. The Congress also outlined an action program with the requirement to make the right choices, implement quickly, complete tasks thoroughly, and measure results for all tasks.

2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, a pivotal year for the Party's decisions to be put into practice, creating a solid foundation for achieving development milestones. Ministries, sectors, localities, and units need to urgently study and thoroughly understand the Resolution of the 14th National Congress, concretizing the action program into projects and plans suitable to the practical conditions of their respective fields and localities; decisively and systematically implementing the Central Committee's strategic resolutions, creating clear and fundamental changes as a foundation for sustainable development. Every cadre, Party member, and citizen should strive to study, train, and compete in labor and work, determined to transform the resolutions into concrete actions and results to accelerate comprehensive breakthroughs in all fields. Each Party committee and organization must constantly renew and rectify itself to become clean, strong, and comprehensive, enhance its fighting capacity, and affirm its leadership role in guiding the masses to act with a proactive, innovative, and responsible spirit.

Celebrating the new year, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the nation entering a new era, the entire Party, people, and army, with the strength of national unity and the aspiration for development, will work together to successfully achieve the set goals, laying a solid foundation for the next stage, realizing the aspiration for a strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam by the middle of the 21st century, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading nations as our beloved President Ho Chi Minh always wished during his lifetime.
