The Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2022 will officially open on the evening of April 8th.
(Baonghean.vn) - The opening ceremony took place at 8 PM on April 8, 2022. Following this, Cua Lo will host a series of cultural, artistic, and sports activities from April 9 to April 30, 2022, to serve the local people and tourists.
The Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2022 was directly supervised, managed, and inaugurated by the Provincial People's Committee; the Cua Lo Town People's Committee was assigned to preside over the festival activities, art programs, and other events serving the tourism year.

The highlight of this year's opening ceremony is the art program themed "Cua Lo: Love for the Sea and the Aspiration to Shine." This program is rich in the cultural colors of Nghe An province, blended with youthful energy and vibrancy, spreading connections across the country. It's a connection through music and performance styles to tell the story of Cua Lo entering a year of renewed and vibrant tourism development.

The program features popular artists and singers such as Bui Le Man, Hai Yen, Dang Thuat, Thanh Tai, and others.
The art program concluded with a 15-minute fireworks display at Binh Minh Square – the venue for important events in the coastal town of Cua Lo.
Following the opening ceremony, a series of events will take place from April 9th to April 30th, including: a human chess tournament; a street music and food festival; a folk art performance; the opening of the provincial Karate tournament; a competition for tour guides and interpreters; a town-level chef competition; a fair showcasing OCOP products; and the final round of the Got Talent competition...

In parallel with the above activities, Cua Lo town also organized the opening ceremony of the Cau Ngu Festival and cultural, artistic, and sports activities as part of the Cau Ngu Festival from April 14-15, 2022 in Nghi Hai ward. Booths displaying products for tourists to visit and shop were also opened on Pham Huy street (Nghi Thuy ward). Cultural, artistic, and sports activities were organized in response to the opening of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival and to celebrate the Liberation Day of Southern Vietnam on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1 in the wards throughout the town.
With the theme "Cua Lo: Safe - Friendly - Hospitable," the town has set a target of welcoming 1,550,000 visitors in 2022, including 516,000 overnight visitors, focusing on domestic tourists.
