A maximum of six foreign players will be allowed on the field at the same time in the V.League 2025/26.

On the afternoon of July 14th, the LP Bank V.League 2025/26 National Football Championship officially kicked off with the draw and scheduling of matches.

One of the issues attracting attention ahead of the new season is the regulation on the number of foreign players.

The Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) stipulates that each club can register four foreign players and a maximum of three can be on the field at the same time. In recent days, some clubs have petitioned the VPF to allow all four foreign players to play simultaneously.

At the draw for the V.League 2025/26 schedule, the organizers announced that the regulation allowing each team to register 4 foreign players but fielding a maximum of 3 foreign players at the same time would remain unchanged.

The actual number of foreign-born players in the V.League is higher because a large number of foreign-born players and naturalized overseas Vietnamese are counted as domestic players.

Que Ngoc Hai parts ways with Binh Duong Club.

After Binh Duong's 2-3 defeat againstLam River, Nghe AnIn the semi-finals of the 2024/25 National Cup, many sources reported that the Binh Duong team's management was very disappointed with Que Ngoc Hai's performance and was considering selling the player.

Hanoi Police Football Club has recently officially included defender Doan Van Hau in its registration list for the 2025/26 V.League season, which has been submitted to the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

This is a positive sign, indicating that the 1999-born player's injury recovery process is progressing well. Previously, Doan Van Hau shared images of himself training with the ball, hinting that his return to the pitch is not far off.

The Vietnamese football star suffered a prolonged heel injury and previously underwent treatment in Singapore for self-healing, without surgery. However, after nearly six months without success, the defender was forced to undergo surgery in March 2024.
