So, what are the penalties for those who commit the crime of "forging documents of agencies and organizations"?

Article 341 of the 2015 Penal Code (amended 2017) stipulates the crimes of forging seals and documents of agencies and organizations; and the crime of using forged seals or documents of agencies and organizations as follows:
1. Anyone who forges seals, documents, or other papers of agencies or organizations, or uses forged seals, documents, or papers to commit illegal acts, shall be fined from VND 30,000,000 to VND 100,000,000, sentenced to non-custodial correctional labor for up to 3 years, or imprisoned from 6 months to 2 years.
2. Committing an offense falling under one of the following circumstances shall be punishable by imprisonment from 2 to 5 years:
a) Organized;
b) Committing the crime two or more times;
c) Make 2 to 5 stamps, documents, or other papers;
d) Using seals, documents, or other papers to commit minor or serious crimes;
d) Illegally profiting from VND 10,000,000 to less than VND 50,000,000;
e) Dangerous recidivism.
3. Committing an offense falling under one of the following circumstances shall be punishable by imprisonment from 3 to 7 years:
a) Making six or more seals, documents, or other papers;
b) Using seals, documents, or other papers to commit very serious crimes or exceptionally serious crimes;
c) Illegally profiting 50,000,000 VND or more.
4. The offender may also be fined from 5,000,000 VND to 50,000,000 VND.”
Therefore, anyone who forges seals or documents of organizations or agencies will be prosecuted depending on the nature and severity of the crime, potentially facing a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison, and may also be fined up to 50,000,000 VND.
