SOME HIGH-RANKING, KEY OFFICIALS LACK SELF-CULTIVATION AND TRAINING.
However, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee also noted limitations and shortcomings in leadership and guidance in institutionalizing, concretizing, and organizing the implementation of some of the Party's policies and resolutions.
This includes the situation where some central officials, including high-ranking and key officials, lack self-cultivation and training, lack steadfastness and unwavering commitment, lack exemplary conduct in their work and lives, and have deteriorated in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle. They violate Party regulations and State laws, causing resentment within the Party and society, and affecting the prestige and fighting capacity of the Party.
"The Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat of the Party sincerely request to conduct a thorough self-criticism before the Congress, the entire Party, and the entire nation regarding the aforementioned shortcomings and weaknesses," the Standing Committee of the Secretariat stated.

The Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee stated that the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Party Central Committee are closely adhering to the orientations and policies for national development in the coming period; inheriting and promoting lessons learned; and focusing on leading and directing the effective implementation of Party building and rectification work so that our Party truly "is moral and civilized".
