According to Pham Gia Tuc, Chief of the Central Party Office, the founding conference of the Communist Party of Vietnam in February 1930, convened by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, was a great turning point in the history of the Vietnamese nation, ending a period of crisis in the path to national salvation and opening a period of struggle for national independence along the path of proletarian revolution.

Under the wise and correct leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese revolution has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, liberated the nation, seized power for the people, unified the country, and built and defended the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Since its founding, the Communist Party of Vietnam has held 13 congresses and is aiming to successfully organize its 14th National Congress with the theme: "Under the glorious banner of the Party, working together to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; strategic autonomy, self-reliance, self-confidence, and strong progress in the era of national development, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily advancing towards socialism."
