Vietnam Railways Corporation has a new Chairman.
On the afternoon of February 28th, the Minister of Transport presented the appointment decision to Mr. Vu Anh Minh, Director of the Enterprise Management Department, to become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Railways Corporation.
Mr. Vu Anh Minh will replace Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong as the head of the Vietnam Railways Corporation.
Previously, Deputy Minister Dong was assigned by the Ministry of Transport to be in charge of the Board of Directors of the corporation until a new person was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors to replace Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, who was dismissed.

Mr. Vu Anh Minh stated that the Vietnam Railway Corporation still faces many difficulties and challenges ahead. Therefore, he and the leadership team of the corporation will unite, focus their efforts and intelligence to mobilize all resources, gradually overcome difficulties, and strive to achieve each specific goal in the development strategy.
Congratulating Mr. Vu Anh Minh, Minister of Transport Truong Quang Nghia expressed his hope that Mr. Minh and the members of the corporation would propose solutions to improve and reorganize the enterprises that lack uniformity. In particular, he emphasized the need to develop policies to support the development of transport enterprises and integrate science and technology into management.
