(Baonghean.vn) - On January 4, in Vinh city, the General Department of Forestry coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to organize a Steering Committee Conference on the Emergency Action Plan to 2020 to conserve elephants in Vietnam.

(Baonghean) - On the afternoon of June 3, a delegation from the General Department of Forestry and the Forest Protection Department led by Mr. Cao Chi Cong - Deputy Director General of the Forestry Department visited and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. Tran Ba Cong - village team leader of Hamlet 5 (Bao Thanh Commune - Yen Thanh), who died while participating in fighting a forest fire on May 25. Also present were representatives of the Forestry Sub-Department, the Forest Protection Sub-Department of Nghe An Province and the Yen Thanh Forest Protection Department.
