General rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony of the National Phu Dong Sports Festival

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 31st, the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province, held a dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the 9th National Phu Dong Sports Festival – 2016.

Also attending were Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia and members of the Phu Dong Sports Festival Organizing Committee. Representing Nghe An province were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Phu Dong Sports Festival Steering Committee, along with representatives from several relevant departments and agencies.

Central and local delegates attended the dress rehearsal.

The opening ceremony dress rehearsal is a crucial part of the National Phu Dong Sports Festival program. During the dress rehearsal, delegates reviewed the entire opening ceremony program, including the parade of participating units and the group performance.

This was the final rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony. Through this, the Steering Committee of the Phu Dong Sports Festival made timely adjustments and additions to ensure that the Opening Ceremony tomorrow (August 1st) will be solemn and spectacular, marking the beginning of the school sports festival in President Ho Chi Minh's hometown.
