Summary of the 2016 Military Training Semester Program

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 13th, at the Provincial Military School, the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Military School of Military Region IV, organized the closing ceremony of the 2016 Military Training Semester Program.

Attending the closing ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives from the Military School of Military Region 4, the Department of Education and Training, and more than 500 students participating in the "Semester in the Army" course.

The Provincial Youth Union awarded prizes to officers of the Military School of Military Region IV for their outstanding achievements.

The 2016 Military Training Semester program had over 500 trainees from 21 districts, cities, and towns in the province, as well as trainees from Hanoi and Ha Tinh province.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - presented certificates of commendation to outstanding coordinators.

Over the course of 10 days, the participants in the Military Training Semester program engaged in activities centered around three main themes: "Becoming a Soldier," "Journey to Our Roots," and "Exploration and Experience." During the program, the trainees also had the opportunity to interact with and meet famous artists.

Representatives from the Central Youth Union and the Military School of Military Region IV presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the class.

Representatives from the Central Youth Union and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented certificates of merit to students with outstanding achievements.

This is the sixth year the "Semester in the Military" program has been held in Nghe An. Through the "Semester in the Military" program with its beneficial activities, students are equipped with and trained in self-reliance, discipline, courage, orderliness, and the demeanor of a soldier.

Representatives from the Military School of Military Region IV and the Provincial Youth Union presented certificates of merit to outstanding students.

At the same time, it equips them with life skills and social skills to help them build self-confidence, honesty, and enhance their patriotism and sense of responsibility towards themselves, their families, and society.
