Summary of the Fatherland Front's participation in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels.

On the morning of April 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a provincial conference to summarize the work of the Fatherland Front in participating in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting to 130 communes and wards throughout the province. Attendees included: Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Head of the Provincial Delegation to the 15th National Assembly; and Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Enhancing the pivotal role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in election work.

According to the report presented at the conference, in implementing the directives from the Central and provincial authorities, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province issued 168 guiding documents directing the Fatherland Front at all levels to implement election tasks promptly, synchronously, and in accordance with the law.

The Fatherland Front at all levels actively participated in the entire election process, in accordance with the law, on schedule, and effectively. Throughout the province, 4,756 Fatherland Front officials at all levels directly participated in 4,312 election management organizations, contributing to ensuring the smooth, disciplined, and effective operation of the election apparatus from the provincial level to the grassroots.

The consultation process was organized meticulously and according to procedure by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, despite special circumstances: it was conducted 69 days in advance, and included a 9-day Tet holiday, with 390 conferences held from the provincial to the grassroots level.

The Fatherland Front at all levels also chaired conferences to gather opinions and assess the trust of voters in their residential areas regarding candidates nominated for election, as well as voter outreach and election campaigning meetings for candidates, with many innovations, both in-person and online, expanding the democratic space and depth of dialogue; including 4,149 voter outreach and election campaigning meetings.

The Fatherland Front and political and social organizations from the provincial to the grassroots level have also intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage people from all walks of life to participate in the elections, employing many innovative and creative approaches, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, with a total of 158,838 media products, creating a widespread and profound impact throughout society.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province also proactively developed programs and plans to inspect and supervise the election process, with 936 delegations organized. They promptly identified, guided, and rectified difficulties and limitations in the implementation process, making a significant contribution to the success of the election throughout the province, with the highest voter turnout ever, reaching 99.86%.

Focus on monitoring the actions of the elected candidate.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of the province – assessed, acknowledged, and thanked the concerted efforts and high sense of responsibility of those working in the Fatherland Front throughout the province, contributing positively to the success of the election across the province with 9 outstanding highlights.

Congratulating the 604 Front cadres elected as delegates to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh stated: These are exemplary representatives of the great national unity, carrying the trust and expectations of the people; therefore, she hoped that each person would continue to strive and practice the practical advice of President Ho Chi Minh to those elected, which is: "For the benefit of the nation, forget personal gain; for the common good, forget private gain."

Based on her experience participating in election work, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh set forth requirements for the Fatherland Front and those working for the Fatherland Front throughout the province to continue demonstrating courage and responsibility, and to innovate the methods and content of their activities.

Fatherland Front officials should not only perform their roles of gathering, mobilizing, monitoring, and providing feedback using traditional methods, but must also shift to modern approaches; they must be pioneers in innovation, proactively adapt, and lead social consensus in the digital environment – ​​where information flows in multiple directions, at high speed, and demands high levels of interaction.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized, "As the whole country builds a digital government, a digital economy, and 'digital citizens,' Fatherland Front officials must be 'digital Fatherland Front officials' to accompany the people."

To achieve this, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and political and social organizations need to have specific implementation plans; each agency and organization must register to implement at least one breakthrough task in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; and each official and civil servant must have at least one creative idea in their professional work.

Furthermore, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue affirming and enhancing its role in Party building and government building; focusing on effectively implementing Directive No. 06 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the supervision and social criticism of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations. In particular, it should coordinate with People's Councils at all levels to supervise the implementation of the action program and commitments of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels throughout the 2026-2031 term…
