As President, he has had many meetings with high-ranking Vietnamese leaders, made many contributions to the relationship between the two countries and repeatedly expressed his wish to visit Vietnam soon. He is also very interested in the development of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria.
The visit is the result of the good cooperation between the two countries on both bilateral and multilateral levels, taking place at a time when the two countries are preparing to enter 2025 - the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations; creating a great impetus to develop the relationship towards new heights.
