The US President's personal physician, Sean Conley, announced the results on March 14 (local time).
Previously, many Americans were concerned, even angry, about Trump's unwillingness to get tested for the coronavirus, especially after he had been in contact with a Brazilian official who had contracted Covid-19. Ultimately, the White House leader took action under pressure from the media and public opinion.
During the press conference, White House officials also checked the body temperature of all participating reporters for the first time since the emergence of Covid-19.
According to expert statistics, the US currently has 2,263 cases of Covid-19, including 53 deaths.
