During his 2012 re-election campaign, President Obama said this was “my last political campaign” and “I have nothing left to run for.” But in the end, he once again campaigned for his successor.
Last week, Obama also participated in fundraising for Clinton in Chicago. And today, Tuesday, October 11, he gave a speech in support of Clinton and Senate candidates in North Carolina.
President Obama sees this election as a big bet, not only because the next president will inherit and consolidate his steps, but also because he believes the Republican candidate will hurt the country.
In his speeches, besides listing the achievements he has made during his term, he also did not hesitate to express his support for Mrs. Clinton as the most qualified person for the presidency and expressed his concern that Mr. Trump's election victory could reverse all the country's long-standing efforts.
President Obama is currently putting all his efforts into campaigning for Mrs. Clinton.
However, analysts say that to win in the end, the key still depends on the efforts of candidate Hillary Clinton herself and Mr. Obama cannot guarantee her success.
