President Putin calls Russia's adversaries "fools".

During a meeting of the Council on International Relations, Russian President Putin shared: "Our adversaries, those whom I have mentioned before, those with neo-colonial mindsets, fools, in fact do not understand that it is this diversity that makes us stronger. And they are in vain expecting the results they are trying to achieve."

The Russian leader emphasized that calls to divide Russia into dozens of small state entities are selfish and driven by self-interest. Putin argued that Russia's adversaries seek exploitation and have no other goals.

"I've said before that those trained by neocolonial ideas are fools, and they will come in second place in a competition of fools. Why only second place? Well, simply because they are fools," said Russian President Putin.

Putin also added that the Russian people are well aware that it is unity that makes the country strong and invincible.

Earlier this year, in his State of the Union address on January 20, President Putin pointed out that "the West's goal is to weaken, fragment, and ultimately destroy Russia." The Russian leader even suggested that the West "directly said this in 1991, that they could split the Soviet Union, and now it is time to split Russia into many mutually hostile regions."
