President Putin reveals how the special military operation will end.

Regarding the conflict in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin explained that Moscow has always supported and respected the right of people to choose their own development model. However, some countries are promoting monopolies and pursuing neocolonial policies.

The Russian leader argued that it was precisely this desire to maintain hegemony that had turned into a serious crisis in Ukraine.

"Therefore, our special operation in Ukraine is determined by one thing – ending the war waged by the West and its allies in Ukraine against the people living in Donbass," President Putin emphasized.

Through this, President Putin also expressed his gratitude to the other BRICS members for their active support of Russia in recent times, "to end this situation and achieve justice through a peaceful solution."

At the highest-level exchange of views, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa reiterated that BRICS' mission is to promote the interests of the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore, economic development is impossible without peace and stability. In the event of conflict, the United Nations Charter must be upheld.

Brazilian President Luiz Incio Lula da Silva stated that political competition is deepening in the world. The UN Security Council has failed to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict, so the Brazilian leader proposed attempting to resolve this pressing issue on the basis of BRICS.

“More and more countries are cooperating with Moscow and Kyiv to mediate the conflict. These efforts cannot be underestimated. We need to end the suffering of the people. And it is also unacceptable that, with a military budget of $2 trillion, the people are suffering from hunger. The mission of BRICS is to act as a bloc of mutual understanding and cooperation,” said the Brazilian President.
