In an interview last weekend, President Putin said he expected the US negotiating delegation to come to Moscow after Washington reached an agreement with Iran on the conflict in the Middle East.

The Kremlin leader emphasized that Russia remains ready to continue discussions on all details and methods of resolving the Ukraine issue (known as the "anchorage method").

This statement comes amidst the context of the recent G7 summit in France, where US President Donald Trump urged Russia to "reach an agreement with Ukraine."

Alongside diplomatic signals, Moscow maintains a firm stance. Speaking at the United Russia (UR) party congress on June 28, Putin assessed that the world is undergoing a fundamental systemic transformation.

The Russian leader asserted that the West had failed in its attempts to exert brute force to defeat Russia on the battlefield, as well as failing to destabilize its internal politics. Regarding the military situation, he stated that Kiev's forces were retreating along the entire front and shifting to sabotage operations targeting civilians, yet the West was "turning a blind eye" and continuing to impose sanctions on Moscow.

Despite the sanctions, President Putin pledged that Russia's national security and borders would be absolutely guaranteed. All strategic development programs, economic upgrades, and support for key industries will continue to be fully implemented to protect sovereignty.

Looking ahead to the September elections for the Lower House (State Duma), he affirmed that the process would proceed on schedule and strictly in accordance with the law.

In particular, he honored the military personnel who participated in the special military campaign as "a true elite," and urged the government to create conditions for their extensive participation in future civilian, political, and economic leadership at all levels.
