President Putin happily buys ice cream to treat his subordinates.

While attending the MAKS 2017 air show, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to treat himself and his accompanying officials to some refreshing ice cream on a hot day.

The MAKS 2017 International Aerospace Exhibition took place from July 18th in the town of Zhukovsky on the outskirts of Moscow. President Putin visited the exhibition to witness Russia's outstanding military and technological capabilities, accompanied by cabinet members and heads of industrial corporations, according to Sputnik News on July 19th.

Being a big ice cream lover, and not one to shy away from showing it in public, Putin decided to stop at an ice cream truck and ask the vendor: "What kinds of ice cream do you have?"

After choosing his ice cream flavor for 60 rubles (approximately 23,000 VND), the leader handed over a 1,000-ruble bill and treated everyone around him.

“Check if you have enough money,” Putin told the vendor, who admitted she hadn’t had time to count the ice cream sold. At this point, Sergey Chemezov, head of the Rostec corporation, gave her an additional 5,000 rubles.

“How much profit did you make this year? 50 billion rubles (1.4 billion USD), right? Then you have enough money to pay,” Putin joked with Chemezov.

After everyone had finished, Russian reporters asked the leader what the ice cream tasted like, and he replied, "I recommend this one."
