President Trump wants to start denuclearization talks with Russia
President Trump believes nuclear weapons are dangerous and wants to start denuclearization negotiations with Russia.

According to RIA Novosti, US President Donald Trump has called for the elimination of nuclear weapons and expressed hope for denuclearization talks with Russia.
““It would be great if everyone got rid of nuclear weapons,” President Trump said on March 6.
According to the White House owner, the power of this weapon is extremely terrible, so "it would be great if denuclearization took place".
President Trump noted that during his previous term he had made progress in nuclear disarmament contacts with Russia, and had conversations with Chinese leaders.
"I would love to start these negotiations. Denuclearization would be great," the US leader explained.
According to the Federation of American Scientists, the United States and Russia possess nearly 88% of the world's total nuclear arsenal.
The US President's statement comes as French President Emmanuel Macron wants to raise a nuclear umbrella to protect allies in Europe. France currently possesses nuclear deterrence capabilities at sea and in the air, with 290 nuclear warheads.
President Macron warned his counterpart Trump that peace cannot be “accepted at any price” or that a ceasefire agreement “is too fragile”. He stressed that once a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine is signed, Kiev’s allies must ensure that Ukraine is not attacked by Russia again.
