"In general, Russia is using eastern Ukraine, the invasion and the military operations as a testing ground for its new weapons," Poroshenko said at a press conference on Friday.
The President noted that Ukraine has learned to cope with this, including with the help of partners. He said that Ukraine has increased its intelligence operations, defensive capabilities, and technical equipment.
Previously, Moscow had repeatedly stated that it was not involved in the events in eastern Ukraine, was not supplying military equipment and ammunition to the militias, was not a party to the internal conflict in Ukraine, and was interested in helping Ukraine overcome its political and economic crisis.
