President Zelensky: Not ready to exchange territory for peace
Speaking to Indian media, President Zelensky said he was not ready to exchange territory for peace, and that the attack on Kursk was part of a larger operation.

According to RT on August 26, speaking to Indian reporters during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Kiev, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia's Kursk region was part of a larger campaign.
According to Mr. Zelensky, the attack by Ukrainian forces is aimed at “forcing Russia to be ready for a fair world.” However, Mr. Zelensky said he could not reveal everything about the Ukrainian army’s goals.
President Zelensky also said he was not ready to exchange territory for peace.
At the meeting, the Ukrainian leader expressed “pleasure to discuss Prime Minister Modi's peace ideas”, and supported holding the second peace summit on Ukraine, in India.
Prime Minister Modi's visit to Ukraine comes at a crucial moment in the two-and-a-half-year conflict, as Ukrainian forces launch an unprecedented offensive into Russian territory.
Kiev continues to rally support for its peace formula, which is premised on Russia withdrawing its troops from Ukrainian territory.
Throughout the conflict, Ukraine has made efforts to persuade countries with close ties to Russia, especially India and China, to urge Moscow to accept Kiev's terms.
