The wealthiest women on the Vietnamese stock market today are mostly major shareholders in listed banks and real estate corporations.
1. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao
Permanent Vice Chairman of HDBank (HDB); Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VJC); Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovico Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Thao currently owns 35,961,580 HDB shares; 47,470,914 VJC shares (directly owned); and 92,107,239 VJC shares (indirectly owned through 100% ownership in Sunny Sunflower Investment Co., Ltd.).
As of now, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao's total assets amount to 20,381 billion VND, making her the third wealthiest person on the stock exchange after Pham Nhat Vuong (Chairman of Vingroup) and Tran Dinh Long (Chairman of Hoa Phat Group).

2. Ms. Pham Thu Huong
Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup (VIC), wife of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.
Before Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao's VietJet Air went public, Ms. Huong had held the position of the richest woman on the stock exchange for many consecutive years.
She currently ranks 5th on the list of the wealthiest individuals on the stock exchange, owning 151,056,477 VIC shares, with a total asset value of 14,970 billion VND.
3. Ms. Pham Thuy Hang
Billionaire Pham Thuy Hang is the Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup and also the sister-in-law of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.
With ownership of 100,881,292 VIC shares, Ms. Hang's total assets currently amount to 9,997 billion VND, placing her 7th on the stock exchange.
4. Ms. Vu Thi Hien
Ms. Vu Thi Hien is the wife of Mr. Tran Dinh Long, the second wealthiest person on the Vietnamese stock exchange. Ms. Hien is the ninth wealthiest person (on the Vietnamese stock exchange) through her ownership of 154,731,347 HPG shares, with a total share value of VND 6,334 billion.
5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy is known as the wife of Mr. Ho Hung Anh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Techcombank, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masan Group).
Currently, Ms. Thuy ranks 11th among the wealthiest individuals on the stock exchange. Her total assets amount to VND 5,486 billion, derived from her ownership of 5,653,867 Masan (MSN) shares and 174,130,290 Techcombank (TCB) shares.
6. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tam is the mother of Mr. Ho Hung Anh. Currently, Ms. Tam is the 12th wealthiest person on the stock exchange with a total asset value of VND 5,032 billion through ownership of 174,130,290 TCB shares.
7. Ms. Truong Thi Le Khanh
The ranking of the wealthiest individuals on the stock exchange has changed significantly after Techcombank and VPBank went public. However, this has not diminished Ms. Truong Le Khanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vinh Hoan Corporation (VHC), from her position in the top 10 female billionaires on the stock exchange.

Currently, Ms. Khanh ranks 15th in the stock market in terms of total assets. Specifically, she owns 39,575,142 VHC shares, with a total value of 3,428 billion VND.
8. Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen
Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen is a private woman, but she is known for giving up her teaching job at a college to pursue her passion for sauces, contributing to building the Masan empire that holds the number one position in consumer goods today.
Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen is the wife of Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masan Group – MSN). Currently, Ms. Yen is the 16th wealthiest person on the stock exchange with a total asset value of VND 3,428 billion through her ownership of 42,415,234 MSN shares and 300,535 MCH shares of Masan Consumer.

Ranked 10th on this list, Ms. Quyen's net worth currently stands at VND 2.563 billion, thanks to her ownership of 107,700,954 VPBank (VPB) shares. Ms. Quyen is known as the mother of Mr. Ngo Chi Dung (Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPBank).
Following Ms. Quyen on the list of female billionaires on the stock exchange are major shareholders of VPBank. These include Ms. Kim Ngoc Cam Ly, wife of Mr. Bui Hai Quan (Vice Chairman of VPBank), with assets of VND 2,554 billion through ownership of 107,324,063 VPB shares; Ms. Tran Ngoc Lan, a major shareholder of VPBank, with total assets of VND 2,454 billion from owning 103,118,986 VPB shares; and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, a major shareholder of VPBank, owning 95,454,860 VPB shares, with total assets of VND 2,274 billion.
