Top 10 leading schools in the provincial excellent student competition in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 20th, the Department of Education and Training officially announced the results of the provincial excellent student competition for the 2015-2016 school year. More than 2000 students in grades 9 and 11 were recognized.

In this year's Provincial Excellent Student Examination for 9th graders, Nghe An province has 1,260 participating students, divided into two categories: Category A (for students from the plains) and Category B (for students from the highlands).

As a result, 779 students were recognized as outstanding students. Of these, 34 won first prize, 195 won second prize, 288 won third prize, and 230 received honorable mentions.

Vinh City topped Group A. Among the mountainous districts, Con Cuong achieved the highest score.

The team of outstanding students from Con Cuong District participated in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition for 9th graders and won first prize overall in Group B.

In the 11th grade, 2,144 students participated in the competition, of which 1,245 were recognized with 54 first prizes, 330 second prizes, 321 third prizes, and 540 consolation prizes.

The schools ranked in the top 10 in Group A are, in order: Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, Do Luong 1 High School, Dien Chau 3 High School, Vinh University Specialized High School, Le Viet Thuat High School, Phan Dang Luu High School, Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, Tan Ky High School, Huynh Thuc Khang High School, and Boarding School No. 2.

In Group B, ranked first: Con Quông High School, followed by: Quỳ Châu, Tương Dương 2, Nguyễn Trường Tộ (Vinh), Hermann, Quế Phong, Tương Dương 1, Mường Quạ, Sào Nam and Duy Tân High School.

In the Continuing Education sector: Do Luong Continuing Education Center ranks first. This is followed by Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Ky Son Continuing Education Centers, etc.
