Top 10 schools leading the provincial excellent student exam in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 20, the Department of Education and Training officially announced the results of the provincial excellent student exam for the 2015-2016 school year. More than 2,000 students in grades 9 and 11 were recognized.

In this year's Provincial Excellent Student Exam for Grade 9, Nghe An province had 1,260 students taking the exam and was divided into two groups: Group A (for students in the plains) and Group B (for students in the highlands).

As a result, 779 students were recognized as excellent students. Of these, 34 students won First Prize, 195 students won Second Prize, 288 students won Third Prize and 230 students won Encouragement Prize.

Topping Group A is Vinh City. In the mountainous districts, Con Cuong is the locality with the highest achievement.

The excellent student delegation of Con Cuong District participated in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition for 9th graders and won first prize in group B.

In grade 11, there were 2,144 students taking the exam, of which 1,245 were recognized with 54 first prizes, 330 second prizes, 321 third prizes and 540 consolation prizes.

The schools ranked in the top 10 in Group A are, respectively: Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Do Luong 1, Dien Chau 3, Vinh University High School for the Gifted, Le Viet Thuat, Phan Dang Luu, Nguyen Duy Trinh, Tan Ky, Huynh Thuc Khang, and DTNT No. 2.

In Group B, ranked first: Con Quong High School, followed by the following units: Quy Chau, Tuong Duong 2, Nguyen Truong To (Vinh), Hermann, Que Phong, Tuong Duong 1, Muong Qua, Sao Nam and Duy Tan High School,

In the Continuing Education block: Do Luong Continuing Education Center ranked first. Next are Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Ky Son Continuing Education Centers...
