(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2017 National High School Graduation Examination, Nghe An province had 28,663 12th-grade students participating. As a result, 28,161 students (98.25%) were recognized as having graduated. In addition, 502 students were not recognized as having graduated due to failing grades, being penalized during the exam, or having a total score of less than 5 points (exam score + priority points (if any) + average grade point average in 12th grade) after adding up the scores..
According to the Department of Education and Training, out of 108 high schools, boarding high schools, continuing education centers, and vocational training centers with students participating in the 2017 National High School Graduation Examination, 15 schools achieved a 100% graduation rate.

In addition, some high schools have graduation rates lower than the overall average, including: Hoang Mai 2 High School (93.67%), Tuong Duong 1 High School (95.38%), Anh Son 3 High School (91.67%), and Con Cuong High School (95.62%).
Thus, after 3 years of implementing the National High School Graduation Examination, the graduation rate of 12th-grade students in the province increased year by year from 95.8% (2014-2015 school year) to 97.46% (2015-2016 school year) and 98.25% (2016-2017 school year).
