Toyota Innova launches new version.
UMW Toyota Motor has announced a new version of the Toyota Innova in Malaysia, and orders are now open.
The 2.0X version becomes the next member of the Innova family, alongside the current 2.0G AT and 2.0E (MT and AT) models.

The Toyota Innova 2.0X boasts some features and equipment from the 2.0G model, combined with some new features that make it even more superior. First, it has new headlights replacing the halogen ones, and larger alloy wheels compared to the 16-inch wheels on the 2.0E and 2.0G. It's easy to see that the new 2.0X has a more crossover-like design than the current models.
The biggest difference lies in the interior, with two captain's chairs in the second row replacing the traditional row, making the 2.0X more of a 7-seater than an 8-seater. Additionally, the seats are upholstered in leather, an upgrade from previous versions, along with a 6-way adjustable driver's seat (manual adjustment for the front seats).

The remaining features are the same as the 2.0G model; you'll still get the gold satin and polished wood trim, automatic climate control, a luxurious and easy-to-read Optitron instrument cluster, a modern 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display, foldable seats, ambient lighting above the ceiling, a rear camera, and an 8-inch DVD-AVX entertainment system.
In addition to the launch of the 2.0X version, other members of the Innova line are also equipped with improvements such as the 2.0E with 7 airbags, electronic stability control, and traction control. These features give the car a safety system on par with the 2.0G and the new 2.0X (rated 5 stars according to ASEAN NCAP standards).
Customers can also opt for additional accessories such as a digital video recorder (636 Malaysian Ringgit) and a newly added panoramic monitor (2,650 Malaysian Ringgit).
