The exterior design is more modern and robust.
The most noticeable change on the 2026 Toyota Vios is in the front end. The traditional trapezoidal grille has been replaced with a new design that connects to the hood and extends to both sides. The black-painted front bumper gives it a sportier look. Notably, Bi-LED projector headlights are now standard on all versions.

The wheel size remains at 15 inches, but the design has been updated to look more robust. The car comes in a total of six exterior color options, including: beige, black, gray, red, silver, and white.
Comfortable and practical interior design.
The cabin of the 2026 Toyota Vios has been upgraded with a 9-inch central infotainment screen, supporting smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the top-of-the-line G version, the leather-wrapped steering wheel includes paddle shifters, providing a more enjoyable driving experience.

The seating system has also undergone significant changes, with the E MT version switching to faux leather seats instead of the previous fabric seats. Additionally, Toyota has added USB Type-C charging ports to the rear seats on all versions, meeting the growing demand for electronic device usage among passengers.
Durable and fuel-efficient operation
The 2026 Toyota Vios continues to use the 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine (code 2NR-FE), producing a maximum power of 107 horsepower and a maximum torque of 140 Nm. The car comes with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT continuously variable transmission.

The Vios' fuel consumption remains very impressive, ranging from only 4.67 to 7.74 liters/100 km depending on road conditions. This is one of the factors that helps the Vios remain a top choice for both individual customers and businesses.
Superior safety enhancement with Toyota Safety Sense
For the first time, the Toyota Vios is equipped with the advanced Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety package on the G variant. This technology package includes features such as Pre-Collision System (PCS) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA). In addition, Cruise Control is also included, making driving on highways more relaxed.
In addition to the new features, the vehicle retains standard safety equipment such as: anti-lock braking system (ABS), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), vehicle stability control (VSC), and hill-start assist control (HAC).
