Vinh City announces new epidemic level: All wards and communes are at level 3.
(Baonghean.vn) - At level 3, food and beverage services are allowed to open for in-person service, however, the number of customers at any given time must be reduced by 50%. Businesses providing services with a high risk of infection will continue to remain closed.
On March 1st, the People's Committee of Vinh City issued Official Document No. 64/TB-UBND regarding the notification of epidemic levels in the area.Vinh CityUpdated as of 4 PM on March 1st.
Accordingly, all 25 wards and communes in Vinh City are now at level 3. Previously, there were 3 localities at level 4, including Trung Do, Cua Nam, and Le Mao. To date, the Covid-19 epidemic in these localities has basically "cooled down".

According to Official Letter No. 3896 ofPeople's Committee of Nghe An ProvinceAccording to Government Resolution 128, at level 3, food and beverage services are allowed to open for in-person service, however, the number of customers at any given time must be reduced by 50%. Businesses providing services with a high risk of infection such as beauty salons, massage parlors, nightclubs, karaoke bars, bars, internet cafes, and electronic game centers remain closed. Hair salons, however, are allowed to operate at half capacity.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Vinh City has recorded nearly 20,000 cases of Covid-19, accounting for one-quarter of the total Covid-19 infections in the entire province. Of these, 18,000 cases have been recorded since January 1, 2022.
Currently, the city has 5,352 COVID-19 cases under treatment, including 4,686 cases being treated at home. The vaccination rate for the third dose in Vinh City has reached 85.9%.
