Vinh City announced Nghi Lien commune meets advanced new rural standards

In particular, Nghi Lien commune has focused on planning and building economic and production models.OCOP productsranked, ensuring food safety and environmental protection conditions; linking production and product consumption; building a high-tech production model.

Current economic growth rate reaches 9%; Average income per capita in 2021 reaches 49 million VND/year; Poverty rate drops to 0.46%; 10/10 hamlets achieve the title of Cultural Hamlet, the rate of Cultural Families reaches over 97%. The commune Party Committee has achieved exemplary clean and strong status for 2 consecutive years, national defense and security are stable.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the national target programs on new rural construction of the province acknowledged the results that the cadres and people of Nghi Lien commune have achieved.
