Vinh City: Investing 7 billion VND to widen critical curves

(Baonghean.vn) – The Vinh City People’s Committee will widen curves at the city’s intersections. This work is expected to be completed before the 2016 Lunar New Year.

The project is named: Opening right turns before traffic lights at important intersections and crossroads. Including points: Nguyen Du, Nguyen Van Troi, Phuong Hoang intersections, Tam Giac flower garden intersections, Hai Quan intersections, Nguyen Phong Sac, Nguyen Duy Trinh, Duy Tan intersections, Le Nin, Nguyen Sy Sach intersections, Xieng Khouang, Le Nin intersections...

The curve at the Customs intersection is being cleared to prepare for expansion.

Currently, Vinh Urban Infrastructure Company is carrying out the site clearance and coordinating with electricity, telecommunications, and fiber optic companies to move the cable lines for construction. According to the plan, the project to widen the curves will be completed before the Lunar New Year this year.

Widening curves at intersections will make it easier for people and vehicles to turn to the right, contributing to reducing urban traffic congestion.

Mr. Bui Duc Loc, Director of Vinh Urban Infrastructure Company said: The cost for widening these curves is more than 7 billion VND.
