Vinh City: Investing 7 billion VND to expand critical curves.

(Baonghean.vn) – The People's Committee of Vinh City will proceed with widening the curves at the city's intersections. This work is expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year 2016.

The project is titled: Opening right-turn lanes before traffic lights at critical intersections. These include the following locations: the intersection of Nguyen Du, Nguyen Van Troi, Phuong Hoang, the Tam Giac flower garden intersection, the Customs intersection, the intersection of Nguyen Phong Sac, Nguyen Duy Trinh, and Duy Tan streets, the intersection of Le Nin and Nguyen Sy Sach streets, the Xieng Khouang and Le Nin intersections…

The curve at the Customs intersection is currently being cleared for expansion.

Currently, Vinh Urban Infrastructure Company is carrying out land clearance and coordinating with electricity, telecommunications, and fiber optic companies to relocate cable lines for construction. According to the plan, the project to widen the curves will be completed before the Lunar New Year this year.

Widening the curves at intersections will facilitate easier right-turns for pedestrians and vehicles, contributing to reducing urban traffic congestion.

Mr. Bui Duc Loc, Director of Vinh Urban Infrastructure Company, said: "The cost of expanding these curves is over 7 billion VND."
