Vinh City: A sign installer was electrocuted and fell to the ground.
A sign installer in Vinh City on the afternoon of April 9th was electrocuted and fell to the ground after a metal bar came into contact with power lines. He is currently in critical condition.
Around 11 am on April 9th, a group of workers were installing an advertising sign in front of a restaurant and wedding venue on Mai Hac De Street, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
At that moment, a worker carelessly allowed a metal bar to come into contact with the overhead power lines.
Due to the close proximity, the electrical discharge caused the worker to be electrocuted and fall to the ground, unconscious on the spot.
Upon discovering the incident, the group of workers shouted for help and requested the power company to cut off the electricity so they could rescue the victim.

At the same time, doctors and nurses from a nearby hospital quickly arrived to provide first aid and transferred the victim to emergency care in critical condition, suffering from multiple injuries and severe burns.
The victim has been identified as Mr. T., approximately 50 years old, from Ha Tinh province.
"Around lunchtime, the workers were downstairs preparing to clean up the equipment when they heard a loud crash, and Mr. T. fell from a height," recounted an electrician who worked with Mr. T.
At the scene, the area where the construction crew was working was an advertising system, with scaffolding over 6 meters high. A strong electrical discharge damaged the electrical system and many machines in the restaurant and wedding venue.
